Brainstorming is an activity that works best when an outsider facilitates it. We offer a unique idea generation process designed to discover new content opportunities for your business.
We utilize various methods of ideation that unlock the innate creativity in everyone and get your team’s creative juices flowing. The result is a creatively engaging website that delivers new customers. Here’s how...
Idea generation with TheOneStopWeb.Shop

1. Off‑site

We take participants off-site and confiscate their phones for the duration! By doing so, we force their minds to disconnect from the everyday concerns of the office and start operating in new ways. Changing the environment is a key first step to unlocking a person’s innate creativity.

2. Priming

The objective is to generate new ideas for the company’s website. We speed up this process by priming participants and focusing their minds on those domains that are most likely to produce worthwhile new ideas. This counter-intuitive process expands what the group considers possible and delivers better quality ideas.

3. Rules

Before idea generation begins, we reiterate the session’s objective. We establish a space that permits anyone to offer an idea, no matter how terrible it seems, because riffing off a bad idea almost always leads to a good idea. Everyone in the group must agree to the rules before we continue.

4. Commence

A group leader is appointed and the first session starts. For five minutes, the group throws out ideas. The group is then split into teams that compete to see who can add the most new ideas. The results are reconciled and then groups are formed. The process repeats until the facilitator has enough ideas.

5. Refine

The facilitator makes a master list that contains every idea. The group splits into two teams. Each team discards or retains an idea. The entire group compares the two lists and makes a final list containing the ideas both groups chose to keep. The entire group reforms, discusses each idea, and expands on it further.

6. Finalise

After a short break, the facilitator forms two teams and gives them half the ideas and a template. The teams must describe and further refine the idea using the format in the template. We turn this report into a structured content plan for your website.
