Double the Visitors to Your Website in just 10 Days

This tactic will double the visitors to your website if your site doesn’t already have a blog or if it went live recently.

If your site isn’t new to the Internet but doesn’t have a blog, my approach probably won’t double the visitors to your website in 10 days, but it will still increase them.

Now that you’ve heard me use the words “blog” and “SEO,” some of you may be preparing to flee to the hills in panic!

Resist that urge and bear with me. I assure you, this approach is worth sticking around for. Better still, I’m going to share a few tricks that do all the hard work for you. And should you make it to the end, I’ll reveal something even more exciting.

First, the following is what you or your employees must do to make this work...

  1. Discover ten key-word phrases useful to your business.
  2. Write 910 words per day for 10 days.

I know some people think that writing 910 words is a task on par with getting to the moon and returning safely. And that asking these people to find ten keyword phrases is on par with performing an appendectomy on oneself!

Please, stick with me. I have included a way to make these two chores much easier than they used to be. And the payoff is worth it, because this process really can double the visitors to your website.

Simple SEO is the key to helping you double the visitors to your website.

What on Earth are Keyword Phrases?

A keyword phrase is a search term that people type into a search engine when they’re looking for something.

Keyword phrases (search terms) are an excellent way to get the right people to visit your website because they’re only ever used by people looking for a business or service like yours at the very point in time they need your help.

For example, let’s imagine a person who offers handyman services to people who live in West Auckland who decides to double the visitors to his website. We’ll call him Jim, and he provides several services to people in his area...

  • Exterior painting
  • Interior painting
  • Repair a leaking roof
  • Repair and refresh a fence
  • Repair and rehang doors

If Jim wants his website to show up in search engines when people search for services like his, he needs to do the following...

  1. Find out what people type into search engines
Create content on his website that shows up for these searches
  2. How to Find Keyword Phrases

This is now much easier than it used to be thanks to ChatGPT. Click this ChatGPT link and create a free account. If you have one already, go to ChatGPT and log in now.

Ask ChatGPT the following question: Give me 10 keyword search terms people use to find your product or service in your local area.

For example, a car mechanic in Taupo could ask ChatGPT: Give me 10 keyword search terms people use to find a car mechanic in Taupo.

If our mechanic’s workshop can provide a warrant of fitness, he could repeat the question replacing “car mechanic” with “warrant of fitness.”

The objective of this process is to find search terms people use when they’re looking for a business, product, or service like yours that can then be turned into a blog article. This is a highly effective way to double the visitors to your website.

Take your time and think about different types of search a person might use, the specific products and services your business offers, and how people might think of the problems they’re having that lead them to look for a business like yours. ChatGPT will suggest variations automatically, and you can ask it to suggest even more.

Knowing what people are searching for in your local area is a good start, but it isn’t enough on its own to double the visitors to your website. You now need to pick a search term and create content based on that term.

Create Content the Easy Way

If you’re a great writer with plenty of time on your hands, go ahead and write an article based on one of your selected search terms. However, you should be aware that this is more complex than it may seem and the resulting article won’t double the visitors to your website if search engines don’t index it correctly.

A piece of content based on a keyword phrase needs to strike the right balance such that search engines associate that content with the search phrase you’ve chosen. There are other considerations, too, and rather than try and explain it all in this article, let’s ask ChatGPT to write the article for us.

You’ll find out how to do that in a moment, but first, we have to talk about why using a blog is a good idea.

What is a Blog?

When you want to use content to double the visitors to your website, you need a way to add pages that have a legitimate reason for featuring the type of content necessary to rank well for a specific keyword phrase.

A blog on a business website is akin to a magazine contained within a website. It will usually contain articles relating to the business associated with the site.

Blogs are an excellent way to create content that search engines associate with a particular keyword. For example, if I wanted to publish a blog article likely to show up for the search “Best web design company West Auckland,” I would ask ChatGPT the following: Write a 910-word article around the keyword phrase “Best web design company West Auckland.”

ChatGPT would duly produce an article that contained enough instances of the keyword phrase that my content is likely to show up when someone enters that search.

It’s important to note that my search phrase is both specific to a service I offer and located within a well-defined and relatively small geographic area. SEO is a competitive field, and I may have to get even more specific to outcompete more established websites in my area.

The Plan

The plan is very simple...

  • Find ten unique keyword phrases that describe a product or service you offer, and locate your business within a well-defined local area.
  • Create one new article per day and publish it on your website for 10 days.
  • Check your analytics and watch the bump in traffic.

The bump in traffic won’t occur until search engines have visited your site, discovered the new content, and indexed it. This will normally happen within 10 days, but not always. You can check to see whether Google has indexed your new content by entering the following into a Google search...

site://yoursite.com your keyword phrase

For example, If I wanted to see whether Google has indexed a new business networking article, I could enter the following...

site://wordpress-1054700-5118354.cloudwaysapps.com business networking

If nothing comes up, the new articles haven't been indexed. If none of the articles are showing up after ten days, get in touch and we can chat about your options.
